Flame Tree Publishing to include “Huitzilopochtli, God of Human Sacrifice” in their Pirates and Ghosts anthology

My short ghost/horror/fantasy story, “Huitzilopochtli, God of Human Sacrifice”, is due to be published by Flame Tree Publishing in October, in their “Pirates and Ghosts” anthology.

Flame Tree Publishing is already well known for their Gothic Fantasy Short Story series, all of which are produced as deluxe hardback editions printed on silver, matt laminated, gold and silver stamped, embossed and illustrated throughout. These really are beautiful collectors items, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be selected for inclusion, especially as this represents my very first professional sale.

My story will appear alongside classic tales by the likes of Edgar Allan Poe, H P Lovecraft, Arthur Conan Doyle, Rudyard Kipling, Robert Louis Stevenson and a host of other well known names, as well as brand new stories by modern writers.

“Not for the faint-hearted, our nautical themed anthology Pirates & Ghosts drags deep sea horrors out into the open with a smattering of singing mermaids and sinister apparitions to boot.”
